IMI Level 1 Awards in ADAS Awareness & Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness

Designed for non-technical staff in workshop environments working alongside ADAS equipped and Electric/Hybrid vehicles.
This 1-day IMI dual-certified module provides critical safety and technical awareness for dealing with modern and electric vehicles.

Course Content

IMI Level 1 Award in ADAS Awareness
• the types of ADAS systems and sensors available and Health, Safety and legal requirements
• the basic interaction between ADAS systems associated with vehicle powertrain, steering and braking systems
• the potential impact on the correct operation of vehicles fitted with ADAS systems by inappropriate actions of individuals
• the appropriate action to take should damage be caused to an ADAS system or components

IMI Level 1 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness
• the types of electric/hybrid vehicles available
• hazards associated with motor vehicle high energy electrical system
• working safely around electric/hybrid vehicles including charging
• As a result, learners successfully completing this qualification will acquire significant core knowledge of working safely around, but not maintaining electric/hybrid vehicles
