Designed for independent aftermarket technicians to develop diagnostic skills from foundational knowledge to expert-level problem-solving

This Training Pathway begins by refreshing foundational electrical knowledge and then systematically develops skills for accurate fault diagnosis.
Key modules cover maintenance and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles, alongside modern vehicle emission systems.

IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance, System Repair & Replacement

• Prerequisite: Vehicle maintenance and repair skills at level 3 or equivalent

Whilst modules 2&3 can be attended at any time, it is recommended that modules 1,4&5 are completed in the prescribed order.
Learners that have successfully attended courses with equivalent content can gain credit towards the full pathway upon submitting suitable evidence.
