• Foundation Electrics recap
• Identifying and testing components including sensors
• Introduction to CAN bus and how to read test
• Fault finding through use of equipment and guided diagnosis
• How to determine the meaning of DTC’s and how to follow procedures to support diagnosis
• Live testing using a multimeter, determining data to support fault diagnosis
• Live testing using an oscilloscope, determining data to support fault diagnosis
• Introduction to fuel injectors and typical readings to observe
• Introduction to ECU’s how they communicate together and common faults
