Euro 6 Emissions & AdBlue Injection Systems

This 1-day course is designed to develop knowledge and skills in the operation, functionality, components and common issues that occur with the Euro 6 emission control and AdBlue injection systems.
Through the course, you will learn techniques to support diagnosis to ensure correct operation of the system, including: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Diesel Oxidisation Catalyst (DOC), Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR).
With dedicated workshop time, you will be able to delve into manual testing of components and compare outputs against live data readings, learning precautions and best practice within the tasks.

This course covers:
• Diagnostic processes on various systems
• Crystallisation
• Regeneration
• Blocked filters
• Sensor operation
• Basic use of diagnostic equipment and reading data
• Overview of service procedure and regeneration
• Procedures for accurately testing NOx sensors, heat sensors, pressure sensors and communication line
• Pressure testing and comparison of live data

Course Aims
By the end of the day, delegates will be more comfortable diagnosing faults, reading live data and following processes which can be transferred to many different emission control systems, this should give confidence on what to look for and how misleading data can cause issues with diagnosis.
Using real-life workshop environment, information and scenarios throughout, the delegates will enhance their knowledge and skills to support first-time fix of emission control systems.
