Online – Vehicle Fuel Systems – Diesel :VSD46-VC

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for vehicle technicians who may not have enough time to attend a face to face training event but would like expand their knowledge of Common Rail Diesel vehicles. The course will contain information on the various sub systems fitted. Learn effective and efficient testing routines that will save your workshop time and money.

Course Content

This is an online training course comprising of two 2 hour modules.

  • Low pressure supply system, component layout and functions
  • How to test the low pressure system and diagnose faults
  • High pressure generation and control, component layout and functions, including system fault diagnosis
  • Injector testing, how to test Common Rail injectors and diagnose faults on and off the vehicle
  • There will also be a series of short videos to support the test and diagnostic routines including some ‘top tips’

    Prerequisites
    Basic motor vehicle knowledge and an appetite to learn.

    Attainment

  • Trainees will gain an understanding of the Common Rail sub systems, how they can be tested and diagnosed
  • A certificate of attendance will be available upon completion
