SEG Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment – 2 days
Who is the course for?
Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment acts as an equivalent accreditation for motor vehicle technicians who wish to demonstrate Level 3 knowledge and practical competence but who do not hold a formal Level 3 qualification.
Course Prerequisites
Current full UK driving licence for a vehicle class within the test group they wish to test.
It is expected that motor vehicle technicians will have worked in their roles for four or more years to demonstrate capabilities at Level 3.
Evidence to demonstrate three years’ experience could be provided through items such as former wage slips/technician declaration or CV.
Course Content
How will I be assessed?
Through an online multiple-choice exam conducted before a day of practical direct observations on a range of tasks.
Course Options
1-day attendance (assessment only) or 4-day attendance.
Career Progression
On successful completion by the candidate leading to Level 3 Accreditation Certificate for the Light Vehicle Technician.
