Trailer Pin 2 Authorisation :HV60

This course is designed for Level 3 heavy vehicle technicians who require the necessary skills and authorisation to obtain the PIN 2 for advanced Mode Trailer diagnostics.

Course content
• Working with Bosch ESI[tronic] software
• Evolving your skills from how to select vehicles correctly to performing advanced diagnostic tasks
• Carrying out practical assessments on trailers
• Understanding of trailer EBS systems and performing software replacements
• Carrying out of an End of Line Trailer Test
• Introduction to Knorr-Bremse integrated software add-on

Prerequisites
No pre-requisites but we recommend that delegates are familiar with the basic operation of ESI[tronic] software.

Attainment
On successful completion of HV60, delegates will be able to:
• Understand the basic principles of trailer EBS systems>
• Understand the correct procedure to replace trailer EBS software
• Be able to apply for the Bosch PIN 2 trailer authorisation code
