The Expert CV Diagnostic Technician

Designed for heavy vehicle technicians working in independent workshops to develop diagnostic skills from foundational knowledge to expert-level problem-solving

This Training Pathway begins by the refreshing of foundational electrical knowledge and systematically develops towards the skills for accurate fault diagnosis.
A key module covers modern vehicle emission systems, alongside a choice of option module.

• It is recommended that learners bring their diagnostic tooling on day 2 for completion of practical exercises

Option Modules
One option module to be selected to complete pathway.

IMI Level 3 Award in Heavy Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance, System Repair & Replacement
• Prerequisite: Heavy vehicle maintenance and repair skills at level 3 or equivalent

NTDA Roadside Emergency Action Concerning Technicians (REACT)

Whilst module 2 & selected option module can be attended at any time, it is recommended that modules 1,3&4 are completed in the prescribed order.
Learners that have successfully attended courses with equivalent content can gain credit towards the full pathway upon submitting suitable evidence.
