Overview
IMI Level 2 Award in MOT Testing (Class 4&7)
This course is taken over four days (Monday – Thursday), which includes 32 guided learning hours and finishing with a multi-choice exam, an MOT tester demonstration test and assessment test. The exam is made up of 40 multiple choice questions and requires a pass rate of 80%.
We recommended to stay in overnight accommodation due to the course requiring candidates to commit to evening study, alongside college study. This will allow them to concentrate and study in the evening, in the hotel room. It has been seen that candidates who stay away from home tend to have higher pass rates, due to fewer distractions.

Who Should Attend?
This course is for new MOT testers, testers who have been suspended by DVSA, and those who have been away from testing for more than three years.
