MOTA1: MOT Tester Training (Class 4 & 7) Assessment is the assessment following the MOT Tester Training (Class 4 & 7) which must be booked in addition to the course. Prerequisites

The pre-conditions for attending this course are the following:

• To have a full and current driving licence for the classes you want to test.
• To be a skilled technician with at least 4 years full time employment within the service & repair sector in which you wish to test.
• To have NO unspent convictions for criminal offences connected with the MOT scheme or the motor trade, or involving acts of violence or intimidation.
• To be of “good repute”
• To have an “appropriate” recognised qualification (full list of qualifications available upon request).
