Overview

KTS/ESI User Guide :WTE1

This course is designed for anybody that uses any of the features offered within the Bosch ESI/KTS subscription package, including (but not limited to) vehicle technicians, front of house staff, calibration technicians and anyone else within the industry who might use ESI as a data source. The course will contain information on how to get the most out of both the hardware; use of the Oscilloscope and multi meter, Pass-Thru etc. and the software; System Diagnosis, troubleshooting, wiring diagrams etc.

Course Content

• Introduction to KTS/ESI
• Start screen, main menu and settings
• System diagnosis; including trouble codes, actual values
• Trouble shooting using test plans
• Wiring diagrams
• Original documents (OE information)
• Service/maintenance information
• Global OBD II
• Test tools

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites for this course, but it would be useful if ESI has been installed and licensed

Attainment

On successful completion of WTE 1, delegates will:

• Have a good understanding of the specifics of KTS/ESI
• Be able to use KTS/ESI to carry out effective diagnostics
• Understand how to find and use all the fault-finding information contained within ESI
• Be able to use the built in test tools to their full extent
