IMI Levels 2/3 Awards in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance, System Repair & Replacement

Who is the course for?
This qualification has been developed for candidates who wish to gain a level 3 Electric/Hybrid qualification.

Course Prerequisites
Candidates interested in taking this course will need to possess appropriate vehicle maintenance and repair knowledge and skills at level 3.

Course Aims
This qualification has been designed to give the candidate the knowledge and skills required to work safely on Electric/Hybrid vehicles whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing, and repair activities. This may include vehicles that may have or had damage to their high energy/electrical system.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment (EV2.2) will be through an online multiple-choice exam.
Practical direct observation of a vehicles high voltage isolation procedure and reinstate of system operation (EV2.2)(EV3).

How long is the course?
The course is 3 days.

What will I achieve?
Successful completion by the candidate of both theory and practical assessments leading to a qualification.
