IMI Level 3 Award in Test Centre Management

The MOT Managers Course is the most transparent and informative course you will attend if you are opening an MOT station, taking over an existing site, or are looking for that next career step.

Training will be completed at our purpose-built centre, fully equipped with the latest connected equipment. Throughout the course, you will receive support from our experienced, qualified teachers.

Our sister company, The Test Centre is the busiest in the UK, therefore we know what works! We have a range of courses available, depending on your needs.

Days 1-2: Standard Managers course Aimed at those who want to become MOT Managers. You do not need experience in the MOT industry.

Day 3 (Optional): How to setup an MOT centre This day is an additional option to review all the DVSA regulations and documentation required to setup a VTS.

Day 4 (Optional): Staying Green! The final day is recommended for all MOT Managers and focuses on keeping your MOT centre green. It includes best practices, quality systems/audits and full support on specific areas of your business.

Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. You cannot become an MOT Manager if you have any unspent criminal convictions for criminal offences.
