Eligibility Requirements
To enrol on this DVSA-approved qualification, you must meet the following criteria:
• Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old
• Role Suitability
You must be: An existing or aspiring AE or AE Designated Manager,
or A business owner or workshop manager looking to operate or oversee an MOT testing centre
• Good Character
You must be of good repute, as required by DVSA for all AE Designated Managers
This includes no unspent convictions for offences involving fraud, dishonesty, or serious motoring issues
This qualification is essential for anyone managing MOT operations and is often a requirement for DVSA approval as an AE Designated Manager.
