IMI Level 3 Award in MOT Test Centre Management

This two-day course has primarily been developed for those who wish to run an MOT Vehicle Test Station or who will have direct responsibility for MOT operations at the Vehicle Test Station in future.
Candidates will look at how to keep the MOT station equipment calibrated and how to correctly maintain an MOT Centre to meet Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standards.
The content of this qualification has been designed to reflect the contents of the National Occupational Standards for MOT Managers.

Content
The course covers the following topics:
• Managing the legislative and compliance requirements of a MOT Vehicle Test Station
• Dealing with customer service
• Developing the supervising of staff within a test centre
• Test centre quality systems and audits

The qualification is achieved via successful completion of an online exam
