IMI Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling – F-Gas

The IMI award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling course has been designed to provide the knowledge and training needed to gain the qualification necessary to satisfy DEFRA guidelines in the automotive air conditioning market. It is designed for anyone managing refrigerants within the automotive industry, including mobile mechanics, independent garages, body shops, main dealers, and end of vehicle life dismantlers.

On completion of this qualification, technicians will hold a valid certificate to recover F-gas in compliance with government regulations and legislation.

This Defra-approved qualification offers a single unit solution that provides experienced automotive Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) technicians with evidence that they meet the minimum F-gas requirement (EC842/2006 and annex EC307/2008).
