IMI Level 3 Accreditation – Light Vehicle Inspection Technician – Assessment

The Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Course is an accreditation program designed for candidates who wish to qualify for MOT tester training but do not hold a Level 3 certification.
This is a one day Assessment which includes an online knowledge assessment and five timed practical tests.

Candidates should have a strong proficiency in the following areas:
• Basic electrical systems & diagnostics
• Braking components – including assessment & measurements
• Emissions related diagnostics
• General vehicle inspection & diagnostics of various components

This course is assessment only and does not include guidance or training.
Candidates are expected to possess the necessary knowledge and skills prior to attending.
