IMI Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance Activities – Unit 2.2

Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Training ‘Level 2’ is a popular two-day course specifically designed for Technicians who maintain and Service EV/Hybrid vehicles. Designed to deliver the knowledge required to work safely around a vehicle’s high voltage systems, whilst carrying out routine Servicing, Repairs and Maintenance to the vehicle. It highlights the High Voltage components used by various manufacturers, how the systems work and how to safely isolate and discharge the High Voltage systems.

This two-day course shall cover such details as Identification of vehicles and their high voltage components, health and safety, ohms law, motor construction and battery construction.

The course consists of classroom presentations given by one of our Technical Trainers and Practical demonstrations/exercises in the workshop. A Practical Assessment and ‘online’ multiple choice exam is required to complete the assessment.

Delegates are required to complete the IMI Registration Form and return to TEN Automotive Training prior to course attendance.
