IDC5: Off Highway

This course has been developed for technicians working on agricultural vehicles. The candidate will learn about all the functions present within the IDC5 software and best practices when carrying out the electronic diagnosis. Candidates will have the opportunity to diagnose live vehicles within the workshop during the practical session of the course.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of this course the candidate will understand:

• The Tier 4F and stage V after-treatment systems present in DEUTZ-FAHR engines and apply the correct diagnostic procedures
• Fully utilise the IDC5 software and wiring diagrams where available
• Have an understanding of the emissions & associated regulations
• Have an understanding of the diagnostic dashboards available
