Double Deck LOLER Service & Weight Test (for 2)

Please the course content is dependent on the deck being trained on.

This 1 day course provides an understanding of Service, Weight Testing, LOLER examining and general fault finding of Double Decks.
Due to availability of correct weights it’s not always possible carry out a practically Weight Test., however, we will still carry out a simulated Weight Test without weight.

• Use of transformers to power decks
• Valves & components
• Oils
• Controls
• Electrical components
• Safety locks, Lights and indicators
• Emergency lowering procedures
• Fuses
• Electrical/Hydraulic Schematics
• Amps & Pressure Testing
• Fault finding
• Service Requirements
• Servicing ropes & chains including measuring
• Weight Testing

Whilst theory is covered, the course is mostly practical.

It would be advantageous to have attended the Tail Lift LOLER, Service & Weight Test course, but not essential.
