Automotive Refrigerant Handling L3 (F Gas)

Who is the course for?
This Defra Approved qualification has been developed for experienced candidates who wish to meet the F-gas requirement,

Course Prerequisites
A basic knowledge and system operation would be an advantage.

Course Aims
The candidate will obtain and develop practical skill and knowledge in understanding hazards involved, safe handle of F-gas, system operating principles and components, system recovery and charge.

How will I be assessed?
Theory Assessment will be through an online multiple-choice exam.
Practical assessment of automotive refrigerant handling.

How long is the course?
The course is 2 days.

What will I achieve?
Successful completion by the candidate of both theory and practical assessments leading to a qualification Level 3 a refrigerant handling qualification (European Union F-gas Regulation) (EC842/2006 and Annex to Regulation
EC307/2008).

Progression route
IMI Level 3 award in automotive air conditioning servicing and maintenance.
