Overview
Air Conditioning eLearning
This training module covers the basics of climate control, including thermodynamics and the components of climate control systems.
It also explores strategies for effective climate management, as well as maintenance and diagnostic procedures to ensure optimal performance. By the end of the training, mechanics will be able to understand, diagnose, and repair both mechanically and electrically driven systems.
Courses in the Module
1. Climate Control: Thermodynamics & Möller diagram principles and fundamentals
This course covers climate control fundamentals, including thermodynamics and system components.
It explores strategies for effective climate management, maintenance, and diagnostics.
By the end, mechanics will be able to understand, diagnose, and repair both mechanical and electrically driven climate control systems.
2. Climate Control: Compressor Types & Technologies, Diagnosis & Replacement Process
This course focuses on climate control systems.
It describes compressor types, diagnosis, and replacement methods. Learn about air conditioning compressor diagnosis and replacement, an overview of components, climate control management, and servicing. Master symptom-based diagnosis using a thermal loop approach for effective air conditioning troubleshooting.
3. High Voltage Compressors: Safety, Fundamentals, Diagnosis & Repair
This course covers high voltage compressors.
It explores safety protocols, fundamentals, and repair techniques. Mechanics will understand the distinctions between high voltage and conventional compressors, study system components, and learn effective diagnosis and repair methods. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of high voltage compressor operations for automotive applications.
4. Discovering REMAN for the Circular Economy
Many people think of used car parts as waste—but in reality, they can play an important role in reducing the environmental impact of aftermarket activities.
This training aims to help you understand how returning used car parts supports the circular economy and contributes to reducing waste. This principle is at the heart of Valeo REMAN, an initiative that is part of I Care for the Planet, Valeo’s environmental program for aftermarket activities.
